Vase 01/SAND

Ceramic vase no.01 from the SAND collection.
 Hand-made using the kurinuki technique.
 The word "kurinuki" refers to a Japanese term used in the context of the art of sculpture. Kurinuki is a traditional sculpting method that involves carving pieces of clay to create a three-dimensional form.

 The vessel is covered with a matte, transparent glaze. It is made of clay with natural fireclay, whose color resembles sea sand.

 The material is safe in contact with food.

 The handcrafted technique gives each vessel unique features and individual pieces of the same product may differ in form and color.
